With your cooperation, the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has initiated (924) oversight visits during the month of June 2024, exercising its mandates and duties, along with initiating (9623) oversight visits to holy sites and service agencies during the Hajj season, investigating (382) accused individuals, and arresting (155) citizens and residents (with several individuals being released on bail), in line with the Criminal Procedure Law. Among them, employees working in Saudi ministries (Interior, Health, Municipal Rural Affairs & Housing, Commerce, Transport and Culture) and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority for their involvement in various crimes (i.e., bribery, abuse of authority, money laundering, and forgery). Criminal proceedings are currently being taken against the detainees for prosecution in a court of law.
