Saudi Arabia represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, and the Russian Federation, represented by the Public Prosecution, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of combating corruption and enhancing mutual cooperation, on 16 November 2023, in Moscow. Saudi Arabia's delegation was headed by H.E. President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Mr. Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, and the Russian side was represented by Prosecutor General Mr. Igor Viktorovich Krasnov, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Russian Federation, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad. The Memorandum of Cooperation covered several topics, including enhancing cooperation in the field of combating cross-border corruption crimes, exchanging information, and strengthening the institutional capacity of both sides. On the sidelines of the meeting, H.E. the President of Nazaha visited the headquarters of the Public Prosecution University in Moscow. During the visit, a number of topics of common interest and cooperation opportunities were discussed. It is noteworthy that this visit comes in response to the invitation of the Russian Prosecutor General to the President of Nazaha.
